At Rock River Tool & Die, we offer unique
heat treating capabilities.
After the machining process has been
completed, most tools need to be heat treated. The transformation of
soft, machineable steel into a more structurally
sound substance can be done via three various furnaces and techniques at Rock
River Tool & Die.
Abar Vacuum Heat Treat Furnaces
These two furnaces feature an air and a liquid
nitrogen quench.
Vapo-Carb Furnaces
Two oil quench heat treaters.
Draw Furnaces
In these seven ovens, steel is heated to the
draw temperature for several hours. This process similarly toughens the
metal.
We can heat treat via both air-quench and
oil-quench steels.
